Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible

Thought and Action is an authorial archive operated by Federico Hernández Ruiz, with support from amg / Asimetagraf, in Querétaro, Mexico. For privacy and personal-data matters, contact federico@asimetagraf.com.

2. Information we process

The site does not require its own account. We may process information you choose to provide:

• Your email address when you subscribe through the Substack form.
• Your name, email, organization, and message if a future contact or download form expressly requests them.
• Information included in a message when you choose to contact us by email.
• Basic technical access data that hosting and content providers may process to operate, secure, and diagnose their services.

We do not currently use our own advertising analytics or sell personal data.

3. How information is used

Information is used to deliver publications you choose to receive, manage your subscription, respond to messages and requests, provide materials you request, maintain site security, and understand aggregate performance when providers make such metrics available.

Editorial or promotional email is based on your consent. You may withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email.

4. Service providers

OpenAI hosts and operates ChatGPT Sites. Substack hosts the subscription form, manages the subscriber list, and delivers email. When you interact with the embedded form, your information is sent directly to Substack and is also governed by its privacy policy.

Links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, social networks, and other sites lead to independent services with their own policies. We do not share information with them beyond the interaction you initiate by opening their pages.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Hosting and embedded content may use cookies or similar technologies needed to function, preserve preferences, prevent abuse, and measure service performance. If we later add our own analytics or advertising tools that require consent, this notice and the relevant choices will be updated before those tools are activated.

6. Retention and international processing

Substack retains subscription data while the subscription remains active or as required by its policies and applicable obligations. Direct correspondence is retained only as long as needed to manage the relationship or meet legal obligations. Providers may process information outside Mexico under their applicable terms and safeguards.

7. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection regarding data we control, withdraw consent, or request information about its use. Write to federico@asimetagraf.com with the subject “Personal data — Thought and Action.” To stop receiving the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any Substack email.

8. Changes

This notice will be updated when the information collected, its purposes, or service providers change. The current version and date will remain available at this address.
